The appropriate prosthetic solution depends on the amputation level, physical condition, daily activities, mobility goals and clinical assessment of each individual.

The prosthetic fitting process generally begins with an evaluation of the amputation level, residual limb condition, medical history, mobility needs and daily activities. Measurements or a digital model are then taken to prepare an individual socket and select suitable prosthetic components. Trial fittings, alignment adjustments and walking assessments are completed before the final prosthesis is delivered. The process may also include gait training, usage guidance and follow-up adjustments. International patients are advised to share their medical information before travelling to Istanbul so that the initial planning can be completed in advance.
